Competitor car parking

Saturday 22nd

There are 3 car parks available in Courtown if coming to registration in the afternoon. Please note they are not reserved. These are

• The Pier car park (North & South).
• The Burrow Road car park.
• The Forrest Park car park (limited space).

All are within 5 minutes walk of Registration.

August 23rd - Race Day

Car parks on Race Day will open at 4.00am.

• Car park Marshals will direct you to the car park spaces. In the interests of safety please ensure you give them your full cooperation as misplaced cars could block an entry/ exit points.
• Competitors doing the Sprint & Olympic will receive instructions on how to best enter Courtown after 6am based on the flow system from race organisers.
• The car parking in the village will be filled first (e.g the Burrow Road & The Cricket Pitch) Additional car parks include Ireton’s Fairground & the Parish Field above the Church.
• If there is continued demand spectators/beach goers will have access to the spectators car park located opposite Courtown Soccer Club, please read more in spectator information. It is advised that spectators arrive early to avoid the diversions on the roads leading into Courtown.

Diversions

Diversions will take effect from 6.00am on Sunday morning.

Camping

Camping or overnight stays are not permitted in any of the car parks in Courtown. Offenders will be asked to leave. For list of accommodation and campsites visit the Accommodation page.
