Welcome

On Sunday August 23rd 2009, the picturesque village of Courtown Harbour, Co. Wexford will host Éireman, a triathlon festival consisting of a long, middle and olympic distance triathlon.

Unfortunately Éireman will not be taking place in 2010.

The Éireman team is delighted to be able to share this beautiful Blue Flag seaside resort with both competitors and spectators. Not only is the locality naturally primed for triathlon - it might just be the most spectator friendly and family orientated venue on the triathlon circuit.

The Éireman course will be fast. The swim is protected by a sand bank resulting in a sheltering effect. There are no hills really worth mentioning on the bike course. The run course can only be described as beautiful, interesting and flat.

The Éireman festival is unique as it caters for all levels of experienced triathletes. There are four races: long distance, long distance relay, middle distance & olympic distance. In addition, there is an Éireman Warrior Kids race.

We look forward to welcoming you to Éireman.
